Donation Drive to Supply Oxygen Concentrators to Ministry of Health COVID-19 Treatment and Quarantine Centres

 

UPDATE (14 JULY 2021): The Malaysian Thoracic Society would like to thank all donors who have generously contributed towards the donation drive to supply Oxygen Concentrators to the Ministry of Health Quarantine and Treatment Centres.

As of 14th July 2021, we have contributed 64 Oxygen Concentrators with consumables to MAEPS Quarantine and Treatment Centre in Selangor.  Another 10 oxygen concentrators were donated to the Kota Bharu Quarantine and Treatment Centre in Kelantan.  In addition, a total of 26 oxygen concentrators, 86 Oxygen twinhead flowmeters, 6 units of palm pulse oximeters and 110 units of fingertip oximeters have been donated to 9 Ministry of Health Hospitals in Johor (2 hospitals), Selangor (2 hospitals), Perak, Kelantan, Kedah, Sarawak, Melaka and Labuan. Another 2 oxygen concentrators are earmarked for donatiion to Kuching Hospital in Sarawak.

The Malaysian Thoracic Society and Lung Foundation of Malaysia are coordinating donations of oxygen concentrators to be donated to the Ministry of Health for use in Pusat Kuarantin dan Rawatan Covid-19 MAEPS to supplement existing oxygen tanks. MTS shall work with known vendors to procure the oxygen concentrators.

Two oxygen concentrators donated to MAEPS on 25.5.2021.

 

Another 2 oxygen concentrators donated on 31.5.2021.

 

On 4.6.21 we delivered another 33 oxygen concentrators with consumables to MAEPS.

 

Another 10 oxygen concentrator machines were delivered to MAEPS on 10.6.2021.

 

Another 4 units of oxygen concentrators sent to MAEPS on 15.6.2021.

 

20 twin head oxygen flowmeters were donated to the COVID-19 ward in Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru on  20.6.21.
These flowmeters help to optimise Oxygen port usage.

 

Ten oxygen concentrators were donated to PKRC Kota Bahru, Kelantan on  21.6.21.

 

Ten oxygen concentrators were delivered to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang on 24.6.21.

 

Five oxygen concentrators were donated to Hospital Labuan on 25.6.2021.
Thanks to TUDM for help in airlifting the machines.

 

The following items were donated on 28.6.21:
2 units palm oximeter and 10 fingertip pulse oximeters to Hospital Labuan.
50 units fingertip pulse oximeters to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Kota Bahru.
50 units fingertip pulse oximeters to Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru.
All were sent by courier.

 

10 units of Twinhead Oxygen flowmeter were donated to Hospital Tunku Ampuan Rahimah Klang on 28.6.21

 

6 units of Twinhead Oxygen flowmeters were delivered to Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail, Batu Pahat on 28.6.21

 

5 units of Twinhead Oxygen flowmeter were delivered to Hospital Melaka on 28.6.21

 

50 fingertip pulse oximeters have been received by Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II in Kota Bahru on 29.6.2021

 

Three oxygen concentrators were delivered to Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh on 29.5.2021

 

50 finger tip pulse oximeters arrived in HSA JB on 29.5.2021

 

Three units oxygen concentrators arrived at Hosp Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar on 30.6.21

 

Two units palm pulse oximeters were donated to Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar, (pictured here) and one unit was sent to Hospital Melaka on 30.6.21

 

6 Oxygen Twinhead flowmeters were donated to Kuching Hospital on 2.7.21

 

10 units fingertip oximeters and 2 units palm oximeters were donated to Labuan Hospital on 5.7.21

 

Eleven concentrators delivered to MAEPS on 5.7.21

 

Acknowledgement from Hospital Medan Labuan (6.7.21). Machines were shipped out end of June.

 

Two more machines were donated to MAEPS on 6.7.21.

 

40 Twinhead oxygen flowmeters delivered to Hospital Selayang on 13.7.2021.

 

Four oxygen concentrators were donated to Selayang Hospital on 15.7.21.
