MTS Local Travel Grant - APSR 2026

The APSR 2026 will be held from 19 to 22 November 2026 at the SPICE Convention Centre, Penang.

MTS will be offering 10 travel grants. The due date of the application is 5th October 2026. Late applicants will not be entertained.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

a. The applicant must be an active life member of the MTS for minimum of one year.
b. All members are entitled to receive local travel grant once per year from the Society; respiratory trainees are allowed to receive up to two grants per year.  
c. Priority will be given to applicants who have been invited as a chairperson or are taking part in the oral or poster presentation.  
d. The claims for reimbursement must be supported by original receipts.  
e. Applicants must declare all other financial support received to attend this congress (if relevant).   
f. Submission of claims for reimbursement must be made not later than 30 days after the conclusion of the event.
