FIRS is working with the World Health Organization and the United Nations to make sure lung health is represented in national health agendas. At the World Health Assembly, FIRS proclaimed September 25 as a World Lung Day and hopes to use this as a rallying point for advocacy related to respiratory health or air quality.
The objectives of the Sign On the Charter for Lung Health Petition is to improve lung health by encouraging individuals to sign on and show that they are committed to increase awareness and action to promote global lung health.
The Charter for Lung Health hopes to get 100,000 persons sign on to it. Please sign up
